Not So “Fun Facts”: Which one gives YOU the push to stop Restrict Act?

• The average age of the Bills Sponsors is 68 with an average tenure in the Senate of 13 years. More than half of the Sponsors are eligible for full retirement under Social Security.

• This new agency formed under the Dept. of Commerce has sole discretion to pick and choose which companies and products Americans can use and what they can say while using them.

• The Restrict Act expressly makes other government transparency laws inapplicable including no judicial review, being exempt from FOIA and record keeping in the Federal Register.

• If the Restrict Act passes, it will be used to attempt a ban on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The act is written in incredibly broad language and defines a covered transaction as a transaction in which ANY covered entity has ANY interest. You think Russia accepting BTC for their oil to evade US sanctions wouldn’t count? If so I have an oilfield to sell you.

• The Bill is being sold to the public as the “TikTok Ban” that will protect the American people from being spied on by Communist China and other “Foreign Adversaries”. In fact, the only thing being restricted by the “Restrict Act” are the rights of the Americans.

• The “Restrict Act” is a direct assault on both the 1st and 4th amendments, that creates a new agency with supreme power to take tyrannical control of everything that uses the internet.

• When we say this new agency is seizing control of everything, we mean EVERYTHING including Social Media Platforms like Twitter, Truth Social, and TikTok as well as Decentralized Cryptocurrency projects like Bitcoin, All Web3 and NFT Projects, and Online Marketplaces like Etsy/eBay etc.

• The Constitution shredding “Restrict Act” is an authoritarian power grab that allows the surveillance State unrestricted access to anything deemed as a “Foreign Adversary” OR “in favor of the strategic objectives of a foreign adversary”.

• The "Restrict Act" also criminalizes ‘election denial’: . . . interfering in, or altering the result or reported result of a Federal election. . ."

• The Restrict Act allows unlimited budget and hiring.

• The Central Governance attempt is a global initiative - it is starting here, in the United States. WEF is pushing to regulate all AI.
